Southern California artist David Loeppke fronts an indie rock, dream pop, psych pop, sounding band. David has a diverse yet still cohesive eclectic emerging singer-songwriter style that captures a sophisticated listening audience. With his debut single "Staring at the Sun", David was signed to a licensing deal by an Indie Label, who distributed his first single Worldwide via Warner/ADA. The Indie label eventually dissolved so David continues as a DIY musician. His recorded music gives a nod of retro orchestration toward his musical influences (Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Queen, Beach Boys, ELO, America, Neil Young) but when performed live with a raw emotional sound, it creates some dreamy modern day nostalgia! His first 5 song EP titled "Big Love", was recorded and mixed by Thom Flowers, and Mastered at Capitol Records, by Robert Vosgien. It has a unique range of emotion, intellect, and heart. David has performed live as a solo artist, duo, trio, even up to a revolving seven piece ensemble whose heartfelt performances strive to awaken a universal spirit through his live music. His indie rock vibe creates hints of Americana, Psychedelia, and Indie Pop.
David's current live band lineup includes Tony Riparetti on lead guitar, Wiffdabass on Bass, and Roy Coleman on Drums! His next EP of songs were originally recorded in Austin Tx, and also at a studio owned by JR Richards (Dishwalla) in Santa Barbara. JR sang harmony on a few tracks! They were all mixed by Thom Flowers at Orange Whip Studios in Goleta CA, and will be mastered at Capitol Records Mastering in Hollywood, CA.
